RAVENS HONOR ROWS!
The CORPS program received the Honor Rows grant because of the many community service projects the CORPS youth participated in throughout Baltimore City. Over the last year, CORPS youth have done over 4000 hours of community service projects. This program works with young men and women who are coming home from treatment facilities or from the Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center (BCJJC). The CORPS program gives them the opportunity to give back to their communities with hard work through projects such as repainting schools, rebuilding playgrounds, or organizing food drives for the homeless.
On game day, one youth, Samuel, stood out. Samuel said, "This is my second time coming to a Ravens game but I enjoyed it because I got the opportunity to watch the game with friends I have made through the CLIA program." Samuel also stated that watching the Baltimore Ravens beat the New York Giants 33 to 14 was wonderful!
